I really enjoyed this book!  Children will be able to relate to Katy's and her trials.  Although she is Amish she is attending a public school to further her education.  She struggles with being different, sin, dress, and peer pressure...just like today's teenagers.  I want to read the rest of the series.

I will be giving this to my daughter to read for a book report.  And since I read the book already she will not be able to "flub" the report.  I highly recommend this book...young and not so young.
