Happy Homemaker Monday

Goodness is it Monday already??  Seems like I just did this yesterday.  It seems the older I get the faster time flies by me.  At church yesterday everyone was amazed at how old my kids are getting to be.  {SIGH} But alas I am loving this stage of life.  Seeing my children blossom into young adults.

Thank you Diary of a Stay at Home Mom for hosting this.

As I look outside my window...
Considering it is 10 pm there isn't much to see outside my window.  A stray car going by here and there.  The air smells of spring outside!  Tomorrow will be in the mid 40's as well.  But we are in for another snow storm Wednesday.  They are calling for close to 12 inches of snow.  SIGH I pray the weatherman is wrong about this.

Right Now I Am...
Listening to my son play a video game.  While singing a country song.

Thinking and pondering...
About our counseling ministry.  We are mid way through our training.  We are looking forward to seeing how God will use us.

On My bedside table...
Bible
Kindle

On My TV tonight...
Nothing much.  I'm fighting a headache.  I will be putting some lavender Essential oil on my head and heading to bed soon.

Playing on the radio...
Worship Music

On The Menu this week...
Monday~ Spaghetti
Tuesday~ Chili
Wednesday~ Homemade Chicken Nuggets and fries
Thursday~ Homemade pizza
Friday~ Beef Stew

On My To Do List...
Paint the trim in the bathrooms
Deep clean the kitchen
Laundry
Mud and Tape the upstairs hallway

What I am sewing, crocheting, knitting or creating...
Camera strap cover
Apron

My simple pleasure...
Sitting at the supper table chatting with my family.  There is nothing more rewarding than to listen to the chatter.

Lesson learned the past week...
I'm realizing more and more the need to simplify our life.

Looking Around the House...
Things are neat and orderly.  Just the way I like it.  I love coming down in the morning to a clean home.  It may not stay that way for long, but it starts my day off on the right foot.

From The Camera...
I finally have my OWN tool set.  I found this set online a while back.  A portion of the money from the purchase goes to help fund breast cancer research.  I have mentioned before about my friend Laura who is battling it currently.  So it was a win win.  And it's pink, so there is a very good chance my guys will leave it alone.  haha

On my prayer list...
Laura
Our Pastor and his family
Problems in the Ukraine

Bible Verse, Devotional...
1 Thessalonians 4:11 "that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you."

I've also noticed the older I get the faster time goes, especially after having children. Oooh I have a pink tool set too, but it's a very small one. Hope you have a great week.
