Fruit Puree Pops

It has been pretty warm here for a few days.  We reached 92 degrees yesterday.  I believe it was 90 today.  For this part of the country it is hot!

We had a few bags of frozen fruit in the freezer that needed to be used up.  So I let the kids go for it.  How else are they going to learn unless I let them experiment in the kitchen.

We used raspberries, but any fruit would work.

1 bag of frozen fruit
small amount of water (unless your blender is pretty powerful)
small amount of sugar (if you want)

Place everything in the blender.
Blend until you have the desired consistency.

Fill your ice cube trays.

Cover the tray with plastic wrap..or in our case wax paper.  Place a toothpick into each cube.  Place them into the freezer until frozen.  Such a wonderful treat on a hot day.  If you make some with peach you can toss it into a nice glass of iced tea!
