Happy Homemaker Monday

The weather in my neck of the woods...
cold and rain.

Things that make me happy...
smile on my families faces when they smell the fresh baked bread.

Book I'm reading...
Bible~~I'm almost done reading through the Bible in 4 months!!  I'm SO thankful I stuck with it.  I look forward to reading through again next year at a slower pace so I can glean from it.

What's on my TV today...
Waltons

On the menu for dinner...
I wasn't feeling well today so it was pasta.

On my To Do List...
make rolls for Thanksgiving
Mashed Potatoes

New Recipe I tried or want to try soon...
Artisan Bread in 5 a day.  It's great!  I make up the dough and then take what is needed.  YUM!

In the craft basket...
not much
Looking forward to this week...
going down to see my grandmother.  We are spending the night so we can visit with her.

Tips and Tricks...
When you are feeling overwhelmed fall to your knees.  Prayer makes it all better.

My favorite blog post this week...
Last Saturday, my mom and I went to a crafting day at the Genesee Country Village and Museum.  I had so much fun.
Blog Hopping (a new discovered blog you would like to share with the readers)...
Farm Wife Primitives I love primitives!!!  I came across this blog the other day.

No words needed (favorite photo or picture, yours or others you want to share)...

Lesson learned the past few days...
God is not afraid to take you out of your comfort zone!

On my mind...
My husband and I along with 4 other couples are praying about starting a church.  God is pulling everything together very quickly.  Too quickly for my liking!  But everything happens in God's time...fast or slow.

Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses...
Psalm 69:30
"I will praise the name of God with a song,
And will magnify Him with thanksgiving."

I love your quote this week, very festive and faithful all at the same time!

Also, your picture is completely perfect! Nothing says nap time like a cat curling up with you. :)

Have a blessed Thanksgiving!!

Great list! Did you know on the Gospel Music Channel, Thanksgiving they will have a special Thanksgiving with the Walton's? Can't remember what time though...

Love your picture too! I want to do that so many days, but the little one won't let me! lol Ah, to be a kid again and get to take a nap if I want to!

Praying God will work His magic and the new church will be started and a great success! Having another place to share our Lord's love is always a great thing!!

Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
