Slow Cooking Thursday

Stop by Diary of a SAHM to see other recipes.
This recipe is just perfect for the sickies that have been going around our house and many other homes as well. Even the smell coming from the kitchen makes me feel so much better! I just can not wait for the warmer temperatures so we can open the windows again.
Chicken and Wild Rice Soup (6-8 servings)
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cups cooked chicken chopped
1 cup shredded carrots
1 cup diced celery
2 packages long grain and wild rice mix (with seasoning packets)
5 cups chicken broth
5 cups water
Combine all ingredients in a greased 4 1/2 to 6 quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on low heat 4-6 hours, or until rice is done. Do not overcook.
Serve with crackers or corn muffins.
