It really is not difficult to make your own seasonings. Since starting on my weight loss journey in January I have really taken notice of what is actually in those packets. Honestly, I do not want that stuff in my body!
This recipe makes a very large amount! We use taco seasonings on everything. If it is too much just cut it in half.
6 tablespoons chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon paprika
6 tablespoons cumin
1 teaspoon black pepper
Mix all of the ingredients in a large container. When you want to use some to make tacos use 2-3 tablespoons. You can use more or less depending on your taste.
