When God gives you something to do everything works together perfectly. This has been the case for our journey to become foster parents. God has opened doors making for a smooth journey so far. We had heard that the wait for fingerprinting could be long. So as soon as we got the paperwork we called to make the appointment. Yesterday I called and we were able to get appointments for this Saturday!!
Our physicals are done. We are so full of emotions at this time. We are excited, nervous and anxious all at the same time. Our 3 children are thrilled as well.
I walked away from the informational meeting a little disappointed. We were told early on that there is a huge need in our county for foster parents. Then at the meeting we were told it could be a long time before we get a placement. After praying about it I realized this was GREAT news for our county. It's just we are so anxious to adopt a child(ren).
We know that God is in control. We know that this journey will be full of ups and downs. We will be praising Him in all situations.
