Something fun to share...
I was looking through different blogs and came across a very nice magazine called "Keeper at Home".  It is published by a few Mennonite and Amish families.  I absolutely LOVE this magazine.  There are no colored advertisements, or a lot of hoopla!  All of the articles in it talk about a simple life according to the Bible.  I ordered the issues from last year and have been reading through them all!  I have also subscribed to it so when the new issue comes out I'll get it.

On my Prayer list...
Family
Military

From my Devotions...
1 Peter 3:1
"Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives,"

Sorry this is so late, but here it is. 2 ripe avocado's
juice from 1 med. lemon
fresh garlic to taste
salt to taste
1 tsp. chili powder
plop of sour cream
* I usually mix it all together and then tweek it a bit to my taste. You can add red peppers or tomatoes to it. (I usually add red pepper cubed,it's awesome!)

I just discovered your blog and I notice our common interests in homeschooling and simple living. And, we share the same state of NY (though different regions). I'll poke around your blog a bit. :)
