Friday Farm Girls at Heart...First time!!

This is my first time participating in Friday Farm Girls at Heart!  If you have been reading my blog for sometime now you know I LOVE to garden and can the produce from it.  I have plants inside at all times that I got from my grandparents.  But come spring I'm out playing in the dirt!  There is nothing like the feel, smell and feeling that comes over you while working the land that the Lord has given us.  Since this is my first time and I just found the blog Plans 4 You, I'm going to give you a tour of my herbs.

This is one of my herb "barrels".  This seems to be the only way I can keep them under control.  This has chives and thyme.

This barrel has mint and sage in it..as well as some more thyme.

I also have some herbs through out the garden....sigh...I sure do miss my gardens during winter.  This is parsley.

My oregano...I love just sitting there taking in the scent of my garden.  I had rosemary but for some reason my husband has something against it...HAHA.  Not really he accidentally ran the rototiller over it.

If you enjoy gardening/farming or even talking about it go on over and see what others have to say HERE

Hi Jen! Welcome to Friday FarmGirls @ Heart! My mom is an expert at all things herbs...your pots remind me of her! I can smell that wonderful savoriness already...

I'm so glad you've joined us! Now a question...does your mint ever "jump" out of your pots and plant itself elsewhere? Just curious!

Welcome again!
Blessings,
Lori

What a beautiful garden you have ! Yes, my hubby and I have already made our list of what we want to grow in the garden this year. But with all that said I am thankful for the winter to rest.

Welcome to FFG@H !

Blessings in Him<><

Hi, Jen! Thanks for visiting, and I'm glad you found Friday Farm Girls! Lori, the hostess, and I both live in suburbia (close to each other, I might add!), but the farm-girl heart lives in both of us!

I love your herbs. Rosemary is one of my favorites to grow, because of its scent. (Your poor rosemary plant!)

I planted some oregano a few years ago, and it keeps coming back. Those are my favorite types of plants. :)

I also have chives that pop up *everywhere*. They are uncontrollable, but I love photographing their pretty flowers.

Blessings to you today!

Christine
