Happy Homemaker Monday

Weather in my neck of the woods....
Cold and winter like.  It's 46 but feels a lot colder!

Things that makes me happy...
snuggling up in the chair with coffee, tea or hot chocolate and a good book.

Book I'm Reading...
Bible
The 60 Minute Money Workout (Review)
Pause for Power (Review)

What's on my TV...
Wind at my Back a new show I found that is produced by the same people who did Anne of Green Gables.  Takes place during the depression.  I love it!

On the menu...
Since we went away for Thanksgiving we did not have the left over turkey like everyone else.  SO today I cooked up a turkey.  YEAH! Leftovers all week.

On the To Do list...
Get things organized.  Magazines are taking over!
Call a few places about our church plant
clean
perhaps some baking

New Recipe I tried or want to try soon...

In the Craft basket...
Advent activities

Looking forward to this week...
Ladies Bible Study
Church Planting Meeting

Tips and tricks...
Don't keep the whole magazine...cut out articles you are interested in and keep them in a binder.

Favorite Blog post this week...
Did not read many blogs.

Blog hopping (new discovered blog)...

No words needed (favorite picture)...

Lesson learned the past few days...
Following God's direction in your life is not always easy!  But once you take that step of faith the blessings pour in.

On my mind...
Our church plant (Charity Bible Church).  We are in the process of starting a church in our town.  We have partnered with about 8 other families.  It is so exciting to see God working in our community.  We are a come as you are!  No strings attached.

Devotionals, Scripture reading, key verses...
"I waited patiently for the LORD; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry."~ Psalm 40:1

I love your list! We did the exact same thing with the turkey except we cooked ours on Sunday. We went to my MIL's so we didn't have any here and wanted more! Now we have half of it frozen to make turkey enchiladas later on! Yea!
You'll love the turkey enchiladas! They are very yummy!

I agree with your what makes me happy too! and I love your verse! Good luck with starting the church. God's on your side so I am sure He will make it happen!
