I really am in a good mood this morning!! LOL! Even tho the picture doesn't show it. I really do not like my picture taken. So that in its self is a big step. I am on day 2 of my personal challenge. Yesterday I felt really good. It really is amazing to my how my attitude has changed in just one day.
Also, my husband has been very receptive to my wearing dresses/skirts. I can't quite put my finger on it, but his attitude is a bit different as well.
I thought it would be difficult to do my daily chores in a dress yesterday but it was the exact opposite....the only trouble I had was at times walking up and down stairs, my dress got in the way...the joys of being short...LOL!
I also noticed that yesterday at the store and at the library people treated me different. They smiled more at me, and said Hello. I seemed to be more approachable. Is this just me reading into it...or have other's found this as well.
I am VERY excited about my husband's response to my change of clothing. It has also made me realize that I represent him. Not that I started this because I wanted compliments and such. It just warms my heart to see that look in my husband's eyes! I think all you ladies know the one I'm talking about!!

I am like you. I would rather do anything rather than get my picture taken. I find that when I feel good about myself, it shows and people react to it. It may have been the dress or it may have been that you looked so happy or it may have been both....or........it could be that everyone saw the spirit of our Lord shining through your lovely face.
That is such a cute denim jumper!
You had stated that people seem to percieve you as more approachable with what you are wearing. I would have to agree with this. So many people have come up to me in the middle of Wal-Mart and asked me to pray for them, based merely on what I am wearing. When God places on my heart to go and speak to someone, the people I speak to are receptive or they break down and pour their hearts out to me (this has touched me in such a way, I cant' even describe). To think that just by changing one thing about my apperance people in their most vulnerable states feel they can come speak with me a stranger is far beyond me and all the Lord. God does know what He is doing when He tells us to dress modestly.
I can't wait to see what else you notice in the following days, it really is an eye opener. You are on such an exciting journey. I can't wait to see how He works in your life today through your obedience in this.
May God bless you abundantly today because of your obedience.

I can't stand having my picture taken either, just really don't like it.
But you know, when I feel good about myself, I tend to give off that vibe and everyone reacts to it. When I'm having a bad day and feeling frumpy or ugly or whatever, it also seems to reflect that.
BTW, I love your slippers, mine look almost identical LOL
Cute outfit :)
