Homemaker Monday

The weather in my neck of the woods:
70's with a cool breeze and light rain.

Things that make me happy:
seeing the signs of spring pop up all over.

Book I'm reading:
Bible
Divanomics (for review)
Captivating (for review)

What I'm enjoying on TV:
nothing and loving it!

On the menu for dinner:
Cheeseburger potato soup

On my To Do List:
laundry
finish a few projects

New Recipe I tried or want to try soon:

In the craft basket:
Swifer sweeper crochet cover
a couple of sewing projects
Looking forward to this week:
maybe getting our new truck...new to us. It couldn't come at a better time.  Our car has been in the shop more times than not lately.  Our other truck...we hold our breath and hope we get there...LOL.
Tips and Tricks:
really have nothing in this area

My favorite blog post this week:
Do not have a favorite of mine.

Blog Hopping (a new discovered blog you would like to share with the readers):
A Wise Woman Builds Her Home
I've been reading this blog for about a week now.  It's like sitting down with a wonderful Christian woman.  I absolutely love the music as well.  Many of the songs on it we had in our wedding.

No words needed (favorite photo or picture, yours or others you want to share):

Lesson learned the past few days:
Instead of trying to fix everything myself and worrying about it when it's not fixed I give it to God with palms up!
On my mind:
Our current trials...we have run out of money to complete the bathroom.  We have car repairs that need to be done.  But in the midst of this God is faithful to provide for our needs.

Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:
Isaiah 41:10 (New King James Version)

"Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."

I have read Captivating by Staci!
Changed my thoughts on a few things.
My hubby attends a men's bible study that uses the Wild at Heart by John Eldredge.
It's all very good stuff!
I pray that the Lord will give you what you need for your bathroom AND your transportation--
He is faithful and does give us the best gifts at the right time, doesn't He?
Blessings to you!
