One of my simple pleasures: baking bread and how it makes the house smell.
On my bed side table: Bible, books for review
On my TV: news at the moment
On the menu for tonight: Chicken Cordon Blue Casserole
On my to do list: clean, scrapbooking, cardmaking, schooling for the kids
New Recipe I tried last week: Bacon Swiss Rye Muffins...these were SO good. You can visit my friend's blog and get the recipe.
In the craft basket: scrapbooking, cardmaking
Looking forward to: getting my new laptop!! I'm waiting for it to arrive.
Homemaking tip for this week: Do not forget to pull out the couch once and a while to clean under it...you never know what is lurking under there. *wink*
Favorite Blog post (mine or another): Sandra's post on the Renaissance Fair post. We have a festival in NY every year but we have yet to go. We might just have to go this year. I'm not a big fan of crowds...but she has made me really looking forward to going.
Favorite Photo from last week: My kids wanted to play a game last week so I choose Monopoly...I used it as a chance to get some extra learning in....he he!! Shhhh don't tell them.
Lesson learned the past few days: Take time to stop and smell the roses....when your children ask you to play or do something with them do it! They grow up way too fast.
On my prayer list: My Husband, Children, family, friends, military families, God's direction in our lives (my husband and I have both know where God wants us in ministry...now comes the preparation)
Devotionals, Key Verses, Scripture Reading: Matthew 6:1 "Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven."

I agree that our little ones grow up so fast! I cherish every minute with my daughter. I still can't believe she is already 1. That first year went by so fast.
Happy Homemaker Monday!
