Slow Cooking Thursday

Last week I found hams on sale for .69 cents a pound so I picked up a HUGE ham. We cooked it up and now have many packages in the freezer of ham ready to use. I found this recipe and made it the other day. It is delish!!

Ham and Potatoes

1 package frozen hashed browned potatoes
1 teaspoon salt (I left the salt out because ham is very salty)
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups cooked ham chopped
2 cups grated cheddar cheese, divided

Mix all ingredients except for one cup of cheese in greased slow cooker. Cover and cook on low heat 5-6 hours. Thirty minutes before serving, sprinkle reserved cheddar cheese over the top. Makes 4-6 servings.

Wow what a great deal! The recipe sounds good too. I actually have a ham in my freezer right now. I am going to have to get it out and give this a try. Thanks
