31 Days of Prayer for my Husband Day 18

Day 18

Pray that your husband will have an eternal perspective—living in light of eternity. Pray that he will reject materialism and temporal values and put God first in his life. (Matt. 6:33; Deut. 6:5; Eph. 5:16; Ps. 90:12)

Matt. 6:33 (King James Version)
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Deuteronomy 6:5 (King James Version)
And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Ephesians 5:16 (King James Version)
Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Ps. 90:12 (King James Version)
So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

To see more about this wonderful thing we as wives can do for our Husbands go on over to Diary of a SAHM.

I love that you're posting these Jen, I just bought the Love Dare book you posted about, haven't gotten the movie yet or seen it.
I love the idea of strengthening our marriages, any way we can.
My dh and I have been married for 26 years and it takes being totally committed and working diligently and of course always putting the other one first.
Can't wait to follow the book and see the movie.
