Our Anniversary!

Three years ago today my Husband and I became one. We were married in an old country church in a museum. Today we are as in love as the day we met. Here are a few pictures from our day. Enjoy. Hopefully I'll be back to full speed ahead by tomorrow. We are all battling this cold that just won't go away.

This is "our" church. We still visit it often since it is near us. Isn't it just beautiful? As we were saying our vows a ray of sunlight came through the window right on us. It was like the Lord was saying to us "you have my blessing" It came out in the pictures from the photographer. It was the greatest day.

These are the men of the wedding party: Andrew in the middle, my brother, brother in law, and nephew. Don't they all look so happy to be having their pictures?!

These are the women (and hubby) of the wedding party. The one scratching her head is Hannah, next to her is Katie, next to me is my sister in law, sister, niece.

Instead of the traditional wedding cake we decided to make 200+ cupcakes. Someone also brought 2 trays of cookies. I loved the way the table turned out. It was a great way to cut costs for our wedding. We spent as little as we could and still had a wonderful wedding. After the wedding I used the fabric for some curtains. Sorry the picture is a side shot...the photographer pictures were too big and I didn't have enough time to make them smaller.

Also...my doctor's appointment went well today. My back fusion surgery is schedule for December 11. I am at peace about this decision to move forward. I'm having trouble walking even a short distance. I've always been such an active person. I'm looking forward to having that again.

Awww! Happy Anniversary, you two! May you have many, many more happy years together.

Glad to hear you finally have a date for your surgery. Do you know how long you will be hospitalized and what the time frame is for recovery? Hopefully you will be feeling better by Christmas.
