Wordfilled Wednesday

Ecclesiastes 3:1

To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:

Solomon wrote these words to tell us that God has a plan for everyone. God takes us through many seasons in life. Some good some bad. When we face the bad times we need to keep our eyes on God. The problems or trials we face might seem to us like we are not doing what God wants us to do. Do not let these lead you away from God, or create walls between you and God. We need to realize that these "seasons" are only temporary. If we are in the Word everyday, spending time with our Father, we are doing what he wants from us. Do not let your heart harden through the "cold seasons", the "spring thaw" is just around the corner.

This is a favorite passage of mine. ...and that photo. Very nice. I love that it looks like a path - at same time you've got the feeling of movement (the water...) in a time of cold barren'ness. Lovely picture thought. But too soon for snow!!!!
Happy WFW!

Wonderful words today! Thank you for sharing about seasons, for I often struggle through the "cold" ones in a quite literal sense! God is with us through all seasons though, and through all troubles.
