Happy Homemaker Monday

Breakfast time…what is on the plate this morning...
Toast and Jam.  It has become my go to breakfast in the morning.  Quick and easy.

On today’s to do list...
I worked today.  When I got home I had a little more canning to do then it was clean the kitchen time.  Boy am I tired.  I have to say I absolutely LOVE babysitting my niece and nephew.  They are so much fun.

Currently reading...
I'm reading through 1 and 2 Peter.

On the TV today...
Nothing but kids shows.

The weather outside is...
Pretty cool out now...I am loving it!

On the menu this week...
Sadly I am not making much this week.  I really need to get some freezer meals done.

If I have a few minutes to myself, I will...
Sleep!  Haha  No I will probably just sit in the quiet.

New recipe I tried, or want to try this week...
Buffalo Chicken Crescent Ring

In the garden...
Potatoes are still growing (I think).  At least the plants are still green.  So we shall see.

Favorite photo from the camera...
This past weekend Andrew decided he wanted to redo his room.  He did the whole project on his own from start to finish.  We just have a couple of pieces of molding to put up.  It was a very dark brown before.  I'm pretty proud of him.  The handprints were an after thought.  He accidentally put his hand into the paint then stumbled forward leaving a handprint.  Haha

Homemaking Tip...
Sorry I have nothing for you today.

Visiting with Blog friends (blog to share)...
I did not read any new blogs this week.  But I do want to share with you a blog written by a friend of ours.  A month ago her husband fell into the local river and never resurfaced.  He left behind a wife of 5 years, and three beautiful children.  The youngest is just a few months old.  Where Feet May Fail is a very real and heart wrenching blog about Chrissy's journey of grief.  She is very real about what she is going through.  I would not expect anything less from her.  Everything in their life is real...especially their faith in God.

Praying for...
Chrissy and her children
Our church
Our family

Bible verse, Devotional speaking to me...
Psalm 143:10 "Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness."

1 Peter has to be one of my favourite books; I always enjoy reading through it.
