Sausage Gravy and Biscuit Casserole

This is by far the easiest thing I have ever made.  It is also a great way to stretch out a meal to feed more.

Sausage Gravy and Biscuit Casserole

1 pound bulk sausage
3-4 tablespoons flour
2 1/2 cups of milk
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
black pepper to taste
2 cups biscuit mix
2/3 cup milk

In a large skillet cook the sausage until no longer pink.  Sprinkle the flour, onion powder, and garlic powder over the sausage.  Stir to coat the sausage well.  Slowly pour the milk into the mixture.  Add pepper to taste.  Cook for about 10 minutes on low until it is thick.

Pour the mixture into a 13 x 9 baking pan.  Mix up the biscuit mix and drop by spoonful on top of the sausage gravy.  Bake at 350 for 15 minutes or until the biscuits are done.

Enjoy!!!  I've done this with chicken and biscuits as well.

I have two boys that LIVE for sausage gravy and biscuits. I might try it this way soon and see if they like it! I looks delicious!
