Happy Homemaker Monday

To see other Happy Homemaker Monday posts visit Diary of a SAHM.

The weather in my neck of the woods:
Humid and warm around 90.  I'm not liking this weather!

Things that make me happy:
Ice cold lemonade
Air Conditioning on a hot day

Book I'm reading:
many for review

What I'm enjoying on TV:

On the menu for dinner:
left over sloppy joes

On my To Do List:
clean...still trying to get rid of all the drywall dust!!
Tomorrow we are spending the day with our friends.  We are taking them to our favorite local living history museum!!

New Recipe I tried or want to try soon:
Crock Pot Scalloped Potatoes and Ham...I'm making this tomorrow.

In the craft basket:

Looking forward to this week:
visiting with our friends...they have been missionaries in Russia until the beginning of this week.  They have been here since Saturday evening.  It has been great catching up with them.

Tips and Tricks:
I really have nothing....BUT if anyone has a tip or trick on getting rid of dry wall dust...I OPEN!! :-)

My favorite blog post this week:
Garden 2010

Blog Hopping (a new discovered blog you would like to share with the readers):

No words needed (favorite photo or picture, yours or others you want to share): Our daughter's first day as a volunteer at the Genesee Country Village and Museum.

Lesson learned the past few days:
When your children are sick you feel really helpless when you can't take it all away!  I need to lean on the Lord and know that He is in control!

On my mind:
My daughter Hannah, she is very sick with pneumonia.

Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:
Proverbs 3:5-6 (New King James Version)

Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
