I am so grateful for the skills God has given me. Some take more work than others. About a year ago I learned how to crochet. This is a pot holder I made. I'm working now on dish cloths. There is nothing greater than being able to create things for our home. I'm working on my sewing. A few years ago my Husband bought me a sewing machine for my birthday. I told him I would make him some pajamas....well those still are not done yet. But I will get them done!! I love being a keeper at home, creating a warm and inviting place for people.
I am grateful for the opportunity to home school our children. I always loved my children but through home schooling I fell in love with them. I love to see God working in their lives each and every day.
I am grateful for my Husband! He works hard all day providing for us, going to college, and leading our family. We have been called into ministry. He loves to study God's word and I enjoy sitting and listening to him ponder what God is telling him through His Word. We both have changed so much in the past 3 years. I'm so excited to see what God has for us in the future. Right now our ministry is right here in our small town.

WOW Jen! What a great list of things to be grateful for today!!!
THANKS so much for sharing them!!!!
small towns are lovely and no better place than to raise our children
Oh Jen, I love your post today! I decided to join in the fun also! I'm interested in your families ministry.
I love your blog! God Bless your sweet family! Judy
What a beautiful post Jen!!! I have been quilting for three years, not good at clothes though. Mom crochets and I just had her teach me...your first pot holder is much nicer looking than mine!!

Small towns... love it. I didn't grow up in a super small town, but it had the small town feel. Our trip home reminded me of that, when I ran into so many people I know. That is a blessing.
Wonderful post! I love small towns too. Have a great week.
This is a wonderful post.
I have a little something for you on my blog. :-)
Hope you have a lovely weekend!
