Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes
3 lbs. lean ground beef or ground turkey
2 c. low-sodium beef/chicken broth
1 T. Worcestershire Sauce
2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
2 t. paprika
2 T. tomato paste (optional this adds the "sauce" taste to it which my kids like)
Dash of cayenne pepper or hot sauce, optional
Salt and pepper to taste
Hamburger or split sandwich or Kaiser rolls
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground meat, until cooked through and lightly browned. Drain meat, then add to the slow cooker with the broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, paprika and cayenne pepper. Cover and cook on low for six to seven hours. Adjust seasonings with salt and pepper to taste.

I have never tried sloppy joes in the cp. I will save this. Thanks!
Yummy! Now if only I had meat and rolls on hand, I'd get this ready for dinner! Bummer!

I've made crockpot sloppy joe's before. I can't remember what all the recipe had, but yours looks similar from what I remember. Unfortunatly sloppy joe's isn't a family favorite, so I don't do it very often.
How funny - I just posted about sloppy joes today. We've never done them in the crockpot though ... definitely something to try!
I will have to try this. My guys love sloppy joes. Thanks for sharing!
