Psalm 5:3-4
"My voice You shall hear in the
morning, O Lord;
In the morning I will direct it to You,
And I will look up."
One thing I have started doing is my devotional time first thing in the morning before I get out of bed. It is the best time of my day. I love these verses. It helps me start my day off right, with my eyes upward. So many times in the morning it is easy to have eyes that are cast down. Especially if you are like me and not a morning person. So I find that if I have time with the Lord first in the morning my day starts out on the right foot.

As someone who isn't a morning person, being deliberate in seeking His face very first is so helpful and changes my day too!
I am not a morning person... I need to remember to always look up first thing. Thanks for such a great reminder!
