For Today...
Outside my Window... birds are singing away at the feeder. The sun is shinning, it looks like it will be a beautiful day.
I am thinking... I can not believe it is September already. Summer went by so fast. But we are not entering my favorite time of year...autumn!
I am thankful for... my wonderful family who have all pitched in and helped with the housework.
From the kitchen... corn, we had about 5 dozen dropped off to us by a friend of the family who sells the corn locally. When he doesn't sell it all he drops it off for us. I may make some corn relish today.
I am wearing... Shorts and a tshirt, my hair is down.
I am reading... The Bible, homeschool materials, Honoring God Through Traditions by Noel Piper ( Believe that is the title, I've only had one cup of coffee!)
I am hoping... more like praying that everyone affected by the hurricane are safe.
I am hearing... My husband and son talking about woodworking projects they are going to be making. They are also talking about "Curious George".
Around the house... tomatoes to be harvested, and a house to be painted.
One of my favorite things... are the smells that autumn brings on. The trees are starting to change here in western NY.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week... today we are going to a living history museum, the rest of the week, school, church and general cleaning.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...this is from the museum where we will be going today, she is cooking the milk and starting to make cheese.

I covet your fresh corn - after all our rain and grey summer mine is knee high still :sigh: Corn relish is a favourite here, as is wood working too of course.
Thanks for the comment :)
Yum corn relish :)
I would love to have a museum like that near us, but unfortunately we don't.
