"For I know the plans I have for you, Declares the Lord, Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
We live in a society where we have to have things now. It is very hard at times to wait on God to see what he wants us to do. When we get an idea we have to go grab it now. Something does not go our way we get impatient. When we are in pain we want God to take it from us now not later. I've had to come back to this verse many times in the past few months. I know that God has plans for me and it is up to me to wait on God for them to play out. Everything happens in God's time not ours. We may think it is time for something to happen but God isn't ready to reveal his plan to us yet.

This was our verse for Sunday School last week (I teach grades 3-5). What an important truth that God has a plan for us! Thanks for sharing.
Made me think of "Be still and know that I am God"
Have a great day...
Beautiful picture and verse!! Waiting on the Lord is so hard. But what a great reminder that God has the BEST planned for us...it makes waiting a little easier, doesn't it?!?
Oh, you mentioned that word "wait" which makes me think of that "p" word (patience). That is a great reminder for impatient people like me. Blessings to you!
That's one of the verses I tell myself whenever something hard to swallow comes into my life. This verse is a God-send -- literally.
Such a great verse, and lovely picture.
This is one of my favorite verse, Jen. It is always very encouraging to remember that God loves us and His plans for us are always good. Waiting is indeed difficult but God's plans are the best. Thank God for leading you in the past months. May He continue to keep you near to Him and bless you in His ways. Thanks for sharing this lovely picture and very encouraging verse with us. Take care and have a blessed day!
