Happy Homemaker Monday

As I look outside my window...
It has been cold, windy with rain on and off today.  One of those days I want to stay inside and snuggle on the couch.

Right Now I Am...
Waiting for my husband to call on his dinner break.

Thinking and pondering...
About things in my spiritual life I really need to work on.

On My bedside table...
Kindle.  I just started reading An Old Fashioned Thanksgiving

On My TV tonight...
The Waltons

Playing on the radio...
The kids have been enjoying Christmas music.  Personally it's a little too early for that.  But I do enjoy hearing O Holy Night

On The Menu this week...
Monday~ Fish N Chips
Tuesday~ Chicken Parm
Wednesday~ Ham and Potato Soup
Thursday~ Vegetable stuffed shells
Friday~ Not sure yet

On My To Do List...
Take inventory of my baking supplies.  I cannot wait to start on some cookies, candies and other goodies I may come up with.

What I am sewing, crocheting, knitting or creating...
I'm working on a couple of blankets.  A new yarn store opened up in town.  I'm hoping to head on up there later this week.  It's called The Woolery.  Don't you just love the name??

My simple pleasure...
Sitting outside on our back porch watching the stars.

Lesson learned the past week...
I have to work on being content!  It always seems we pray and pray for things.  When God gives us those things we continue to want what we use to have.  I can only imagine how frustrated God must be with us.  I love our home, but certain things just really make me wish for country life again.

Looking Around the House...
A few projects I need to complete.

From The Camera...

On my prayer list...
Family and friends going through a lot.  God knows who I am praying for.  Our service men and women.

Bible Verse, Devotional...
Hebrews 13:5
"Let your conduct be without covetousness, be content with such things as you have.  For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
