Happy Homemaker Monday

It is once again Monday! A fresh week, everything is new.  We have a busy week ahead of us.  We are ready for whatever the week shall hold.

The Weather...
It has been such a roller coaster ride with the weather here.  Yesterday we were at -4 degrees.  Today we are at 60!  By the end of the week we are looking at negative temperatures again.  <sigh> NY weather!

Right now I am...
Listening to my husband read to me about being a faithful pastor.  He has such a servants heart.  He loves to serve people.

Thinking...
About all of the appointments my husband has before his surgery next week.

On my reading pile...
Bible, The Connected Child, A Quilt for Jenna

On my tv...
Nothing and loving it!!

Favorite blog...
I have been staying off the computer most of the week.  It has been wonderful being disconnected.

Something fun to share...
We have signed our homestudy!!  Now all it needs is the signatures of the county people!  FINALLY!  But it could be another month before we hear anything.  HAHA!

On the menu for this week...
Monday~Chicken and pasta with a broccoli cheese sauce
Tuesday~Chicken and Tortellini soup
Wednesday~Chicken and Biscuits
Thursday~Penne Pasta with a mushroom sauce
Friday~ Chicken tenders and fries

On my to do list...
Work on Katrina's room
Ship off some homeschool curriculum
Work on hallway to get ready for paint

What I am creating...
Blanket for foster kids

Homemaking Tip...
Clean before going to bed.  That way when you wake up you are not greeted by a mess.  It has really helped my attitude toward being a homemaker by doing this.

Looking around the house...
I need to vacuum the living room.  The girls will be unloading the dishwasher and then washing up the pots and pans.  The snow is melting outside creating puddles of mud.  Oh happy happy joy joy! LOL

From the camera...

On my prayer list...
Our Foster/Adoption Journey
My husband's eye surgeries coming up starting next week
Family and Friends

From Scripture...
Psalm 28:8
"The Lord is their strength, He is the saving refuge of His anointed."
